Hello crafters,
I hope you are all keeping well in this cold, damp weather that we are having, especially in Ireland.
Below I have a few cards that I made over the last few days, they are suitable for any occasion.
I hope you will enjoy looking at them & maybe get some inspiration...

I cut all the paper I was using to the size of the cards, I then inked around all the edges to give an aged look. I used foam tape to give height to some of the pictures, this allows you to put lace or other elements underneath. I added some stamping in random places to create interest & texture.
I then used cheesecloth & sisel underneath the flowers to create a 3D effect, you can then attach the bow & string. I finished off using glass beads, glitter glass, & glitter to further enchance the look of the cards.

Thank you for stopping by 😄

Cards and a Journal page

A Valentines Card
Made using a heart stencil and modelling paste,
I then added red embossing powder.
Stamps were used and then Lindys sprays for the colour.

Ribbon, red foam hearts and metal embellishments

Journal page

Journal Page

Starting with a layer of gesso I then used modelling paste
with a stencil to create texture. I followed this with some stamping
using archival ink, the stamping adds interest to the page.
I had a vintage photo of a lady which I layered using cheesecloth
and sisel to create height on the page. A selection of sprays from
lindys were used for the colour on the background.

Vintage Card For a Man

I used Black gesso first and then used texture paste with a stencil
to create texture. Prima metal cogs, frame and other embellishments
finish off the card. Beads and waxed give that vintage look.

Pretty in Pink

A selection of cards with a shabby chic theme.
I used lace to create layers and lots of flowers,
Old paper, twine and ribbon..

Hello crafters..
Here I decided to play with some brown paper bags, I wanted to make them into gift bags.
Before & after photos of small brown bags that I altered using mixed media products.
I hope you enjoy.
Start by applying gesso on your bag, this will helps your products to adhere better.
I used a stencil with icing paste rose gold from Finnabair
I then stamped around the bag randomly with different stamps to create interest.
I then complied all my other elements, string, lace, paper, flowers etc.
I finished with my photo & sentiment..

Hello Crafty Friends

I recently finished this wardrobe style album with the most beautiful paper by Stamperia
Alice In Wonderland..

All the hangers were first coated in gesso as this will help to prime your surface.
I added some paint then around the edges along with lace & some paper elements that I had cut out from the paper pad. It is quite easy to create interest on these hangers using flaps, pockets & tags..

I used soft clay from prima to make  flowers form Finnabair’s mould & I added these to the rails.
The rail was finished off In patina colours & gold wax was used to enhance & highlight.

Products used were from Prima, Stamperia, Scrapiniec, Finnabair.
